Smart provides unlimited Smart WiFi in hospitals

Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) is providing unlimited 24/7 access to free, fiber-powered, and reliable Smart WiFi in close to 70 hospitals across Metro Manila and 22 provinces across the country, as COVID-19 cases rise due to the Omicron variant.

 Free unlimited Smart WiFi is available in the following Metro Manila hospitals: Asian Hospital and Medical Center, Cardinal Santos Medical Center, Marikina Valley Medical Center, Philippine Orthopedic Center, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center, De Los Santos Medical Center, Dr. Jesus C. Delgado Memorial Hospital, Muntinlupa CH People’s Center, Ospital ng Muntinlupa, Pasay City General Hospital, Ospital ng Parañaque, Novaliches District Hospital, Ospital ng Maynila, Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center, San Juan Medical Center and Fe Del Mundo Medical Center.

The service is also available in Northern Luzon hospitals: Central Luzon Doctors’ Hospital (Tarlac), Sacred Heart Hospital of Malolos Inc., St. Louis University Hospital of the Sacred Heart (Benguet), Unihealth – Baypointe Hospital and Medical Center (Zambales), Bulacan Medical Center, GoodSam Medical Center – Cabanatuan, GoodSam Medical Center – Gapan,  Provincial Government of Nueva Vizcaya – Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Hospital, and City Government of Tuguegarao – People’s Emergency Hospital.

In Southern Luzon, free Smart WiFi has also been rolled out in Bacoor Doctors Medical Center, Emilio Aguinaldo College Medical Center – Cavite, Lipa Medix Medical Center, City Health Office of Binan, Ibaan Municipal Health Office, Carmona Municipal Health Office, Cavite Medical Center, CUBA Emergency Clinic (Laguna), Mary Mediatrix Medical Center (Batangas), Lipa City District Hospital, San Antonio Medical Center of Lipa Inc., Cabuyao City Hospital, Ospital ng Cabuyao, Ospital ng Imus, St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center Inc. (Batangas), HealthServ Los Baños Medical Center and Tagaytay Medical Center.

In Visayas and Mindanao, free Smart WiFi can also be accessed at Adventist Medical Center – Bacolod, The Doctors’ Hospital – Bacolod, Riverside Medical Center Inc. (Negros Occidental), University of Cebu Medical Center, Iloilo Mission Hospital, Ramiro Community Hospital (Bohol), Tacloban City Hospital, Adventist Hospital – Cebu, Capiz Emmanuel Hospital, The Health Centrum (Capiz), City Government of Roxas – City Health Office, Divine Word Hospital (Leyte), City Government of Mandaue – City Health, Mandaue City Hospital, Lapu-Lapu City District Hospital;

 PLDT and Smart have also worked closely with the government in their COVID-19 response by rolling out fiber-powered WiFi connectivity to government-run quarantine, swabbing, isolation sites, vaccination sites and other COVID-19 facilities nationwide, including isolation sites set-up by the Office of the Vice President in Malabon City as part of its Swab Cab initiative, in the Quezon City Quarantine Center, in Taguig City’s COVID-19 facilities including Taguig Pateros Hospital, Lakeshore Tent, PWD Center, City Hall of Justice, Katwiran Building and TUP Campus, and Pasig City’s Quarantine facility at Rizal National High School and Pasig City General Hospital. PLDT also rolled out carrier-grade WiFi connectivity in quarantine sites of the Philippine Army, Philippine National Police, and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, in the mega quarantine and swabbing sites of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority and the Department of Public Works and Highways, and in vaccination sites in Mandaluyong, Marikina and Pateros.
