Bayview Park Hotel Manila Reopens with “New Normal” Protocols

After three months of non-operation due to the community quarantine imposed to arrest the further spread of COVID-19, the Bayview Park Hotel Manila in Roxas Boulevard is now set to reopen this July.

During its three-month closure, the three-star hotel had been busy updating its internal policies and upgrading its facilities to ensure the health and safety of guests and employees once it reopens. At the moment, the hotel is running at 50 percent capacity, offering only its room accommodation services to the public to ensure that social distancing protocols within the hotel premises are strictly observed.

The hotel’s facilities such as the swimming pool, fitness gym, conference rooms, and children’s activity center will remain closed during this period. The Bayview Coffeeshop, which usually serves delectable international cuisine and local favorites, will also be closed and only room service of packed meals for in-house guests shall be provided.

In compliance with the health sanitation protocol and procedures set by the Department Of Tourism, Bayview Park Hotel Manila is also implementing sanitation measures such as placing sanitizing mats and disinfectants at all entry points, floor markings to observe the 1-meter distance between guests when in a queue, and imposing a “no handshake” policy in greeting guests. Hotel staff are also being discouraged to show the guests to their rooms after check-in.

Meanwhile, guests are required to observe standard operating procedures such as observing social distancing, wearing masks all the time, surrendering to temperature checks, and frequent hand sanitizing using the alcohols situated around the hotel.

As Bayview Park Hotel Manila eases into the “new normal” with these new policies, it hopes to serve guests in its utmost capacity while remaining hopeful that full business can soon resume once the community quarantine is lifted.
