According to Mark Cerny, the lead architect of the PS4 who is now in in the works on its successor, “Running PS4 and PS4 titles at boosted frequencies has also added complexity” “The boost is truly massive this time around and some game code just can’t handle it. Testing has to be done on a title by title basis. Results are excellent though. We recently took a look at the top 100 PlayStation 4 titles as ranked by playtime and we’re expecting almost all of them to be playable at launch on PlayStation 5.” The other good news is that the PS4 games will run faster with PS5.

Playstation 5 DualSense: A Preview

While waiting for the release of the PS5 console, here is a glimpse of the PS5 DualSense controller

PS5 DualSense wireless controller the upgraded version of the PS4 DualShock controller. Sony Playstation kept some features of PS4 DualShock controller while adding new functionality and enhancing the design of DualSense.

The design of DualSense is a little different from DualShock. The angle and the shape of the hand triggers and grip have changed a little.

The new controller is a bit bulkier than the previous controller and it is a good thing because it gives comfort and a more relaxed grip. It is also smaller than it looks.

The “Share” button is no longer included but it has a new button, “Create” that substitutes this button. It says that this button will give an easier way of content creation.

It also has a built-in microphone that it will give an easier way for the players to interact with other players without using any headset. But a 3.5 mm headset will still be included. It will be the same headset as the PS4 DualShock Controller, this means that you can still use the headset while chatting and you have an extra headset just in case you need one.

The L2 and R2 buttons also got some changes in them. The tension and feedback in these buttons can be adjusted so you can have a smooth game in certain games.

The PS5 DualSense controller is in a two-toned color aesthetic that adds a futuristic approach to the new Sony PS5 console.

These are some of the features of the DualSense Controller for PS5 being released for now and all gamers will be on watch if there will be more changes to come before the release of PlayStation 5 this October- December or 2020.
