PLDT’s enterprise revenues scale all-time high
The Philippines’ largest fully integrated telco firm PLDT further cements its foothold in the enterprise market as the preferred solutions partner among key industries, large and small businesses, and the public sector.
In its most recent financial disclosure, PLDT reported its Enterprise segment’s revenues grew to Php 31.1 billion in the first nine months. In the third quarter, the segment’s revenue scaled an all-time high of Php 10.7 billion, buoyed by the strong uptake of ICT, and Data Center and colocation services growing 26% year-on-year.
“We are aggressively growing strength on IoT, Cloud solutions, and data centers because the hyperscale business – with a huge focus on ICT – is significant to us. As we mentioned, our third quarter revenues for Enterprise is at an all-time high. I am confident that they will do even better in the fourth quarter,” said PLDT Inc. and Smart Communications President and CEO Alfredo S. Panlilio.
Recently, PLDT announced plans of building the largest data center in the country that will help attract global hyperscalers locate in the country to build out their regional expansion in Asia. Once operational, this massive data center will surpass the total rack capacity of the PLDT Group’s current network of 10 data centers strategically located in key regions of the country.
Through PLDT Enterprise, PLDT has forged key partnerships with businesses to offer tailor-fit solutions that are cost-effective and relevant for doing business in the “new normal” such as Beyond Fiber.

These include large-scale partnerships with the government sector in helping mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 crisis through their extensive response initiatives as well as supporting vaccination drives among LGUs. PLDT and Smart have also provided connectivity and solutions to help empower the education sector with their hybrid mode of learning whether for the benefit of teachers or the students.
Through its investments in fortifying the PLDT Group’s network infrastructure and fiber footprint, which now spans over 615,000 kilometers, PLDT continues to service the nation’s efforts and initiatives towards full economic recovery post pandemic.
