Register Now and Be the Next L’Oréal Brandstorm 2021 National Winner
The ultimate innovation competition is back as this year welcomes the 29th edition of L’Oréal Brandstorm. Team up, sign up and register until March 20, 2021! L’Oréal is calling on inventive Filipino students to team-up and decode this year’s mission: Invent the Beauty Shopping Experience through Entertainment as they boost their skills throughout the learning journey and discover the L’Oréal culture along with exciting career opportunities.
“L’Oréal Brandstorm was really my biggest achievement out of all the case competitions I joined in College because it exposed me to different technology and innovations at a global scale, all while I was in the city of lights! This program really helped me jumpstart my career in L’Oréal Philippines as I am currently a junior product manager for two years and running,” shared Annika Bautista, part of the Philippines’ 2019 Brandstorm Team.
Guia Peralta, Management Trainee of L’Oréal Philippines adds, “Joining Brandstorm back in college was really a once in a lifetime experience for me, and all the hard work and effort was worth it. My greatest achievement after winning L’Oréal Brandstorm 2019 was when I started working in L’Oréal and was assigned a major project by my mentors to execute mega-campaigns in eCommerce platforms. This turned out to be a huge success for the company, and I’m genuinely excited to be part of the success of our future campaigns.”
When asked about the advice they wanted to impart aspiring students longing to embark on this once in a lifetime journey, Bautista and Peralta share that it’s all about working smart and hard, plus making sure that you choose the right teammates that will complement each one’s strengths and personalities.
Bautista adds, “Always think from a consumers perspective and how the solution can work for them. Find compelling solutions and layout a clear plan. For us, it was about addressing concerns of someone struggling with eczema. There’s a lot of inspiration out there, and it’s just about synergizing them and making them work to your advantage, and in response to the problem at hand.”
The winning team will get to develop their project through an immersive intrapreneurial mission and all-expense paid internship at the L’Oréal head office in Paris.
