AirAsia Philippines has received information about a technical issue with the software used in the Air Traffic Management Center (ATMC) of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).
All aircraft departing from Manila including AirAsia’s 4 domestic and 1 international flights are put on hold while airport authorities are addressing the problem.

“The safety and well-being of our guests remain our top priority. Security protocols are also in place to effectively manage on ground situations at the various destinations where we fly to. As this is a developing situation, AirAsia Philippines is closely coordinating with airport authorities and will timely update our guests for any relevant information,” AirAsia Philippines Communications and Public Affairs Head and First Officer Steve Dailisan shares.
